Jesus Christ taught by Michelle
The lesson on Suday was about Jesus Christ. The words of the Prophet about Jesus Christ and his personal witness of Him are so powerful. The lesson stirred a great discussion about Christ and the atonement and how that effects each of our lives. Juanita shared an experience with her mother, who is Jehovah Witness. She recalled asking her mother what happened when you died. Her mother did not explain the power of the resurrection or the divine help of our Redeemer. Instead of peace and hope for the after life, Juanita felt fear and hopelessness... that is, until she was taught the gospel of Jesus Christ. In listening to her share this experience, I was so grateful to have the gospel in my life, so I can teach my daughter about Jesus Christ.

“Feed My Sheep” by Silvia Allred
The lesson on Sunday encouraged us to do our visiting teaching!
Visit each assigned sister regularly (where feasible, in her home every month).
“Learn of the spiritual and temporal needs of the sister and her family.”
“Offer appropriate assistance.”
“Give spiritual instruction through a monthly message.”
Our service should be selfless, quiet, and be done willingly, with our hearts full of the love of God and His children. There must be genuine concern to shepherd the flock, to invite them unto Christ.
Thanks Kellie Anderson for contributing!
